BUM BUM BOLE REVIEW: Bum Bum Bole is a Priyadarshan movie which stresses on the life of below middle class life in India but at the end lost his focus . Priyadarshan has very delicately carved out the innocent and emotional story of two siblings and the dilemmas they face in life and how they struggle their way to conquer it

BUM BUM BOLE is a story about Brother and Sister who can’t share their feelings with parents because of the poorness. The story is of family of 4 members who belong to a terrorist dominated region. Khogiram (Atul Kulkarni) ,his wife (Rituparna sengupts) work for a tea plantation with little income who have two kids Pinu(Darsheel) and Rimzim(Zia) Inspire of having financial problems they send the kids to a reputed school but the kids find it difficult to meet the standards of the school as they don’t have enough money to buy shoes or uniform.

In this situation the kids face a big problem when Pine misplaces Rimzims shoes in a vegetable shop but Rimzim need the shoes for going to school. For some time they adjusted to share the Pair of shoes but because of Rimzim, Pinu faces problem as she always has to wait for the shoes.In the meanwhile Pine comes to know about the Inter school Marathon where Shoes have been opted for one of the Prizes. So Pinu decides to Participate in this competition for winning the shoes .

Now the main element of the story is whether Pinu wins the Prize in the competition and makes her sister happy and cools her father. It’s cute story with human relations and bonding but could have been made lot better without stretching it for long. The whole story is concentrated on this pair of shoes which makes audience angry and second half of the movie is too prorogated.

Everyone has put their efforts in acting in BUM BUM BOLE but Darsheel Safary who uses eyes, body and mouth expressively. far better than others, Interesting cool relief of the movie is Pinus friend who comes late to school every day and deadpan face makes everyone laugh .Inspite of good songs. music and cinematography it’s a below average movie The Priyadarshan has made this based on the movie “Children of Heaven” a Iranian movie which won best foreign language movie in 1997.

The BUM BUM BOLE film looks good in bits and pieces but over all its better to keep away from the movie. But at the end Priyadarshan has to be appreciated for selecting such a movie Kindly see the original movie. It’s simple and touches your emotional roots. No grey characters in the original, only the circumstance forces to go through. Struggle of siblings so as not to give trouble to parents depicted beautifully. You’ll end up in tears.
